About The Author

James P. Beran is the youngest son of Walter F. Beran. Born in 1953 in San Antonio Texas, he is a graduate of UCLA. In his younger days he worked in politics, serving as Deputy Chief of Staff to the Lt. Governor of California and in various positions in the Reagan/Bush administration. He is a serial entrepreneur involved in a range of businesses and projects. He is also a cancer survivor. He wrote the book because not only was his father his hero, “he was the greatest man he ever” knew which is no small statement. As his father would say “it is someone who should be looked over and not overlooked”. He is currently finishing up a screen play about Washington DC. Frank A. Paul is a pen name used by Mr. Beran.
